- A.L. Canterbury
- Camera and Imagination are my most loyal companions: Everywhere I go, they follow. I am driven to create almost entirely through feeling and experience: joy, and pain, love, loss, friendship and solitude. I am inspired by music, movies, and a myriad of subtleties that each new day has to offer. I love mixing old with new. A clean work environment makes my mind feel less cluttered. I enjoy eating and drinking out of brightly colored containers — it makes everything taste better. A camera is permanently attached to my hand at all times, except when bathing. I love tea, travel, and culture. I have a passport and no attachments, with the exception of my pet fish named Mudlark, whom I love very much.

- Annie Claflin
- Annie was born on Friday, October 13th, 1978 in Brookline, Massachusetts. At a young age, Annie combined documentation and observation to develop her own photographic style. Her photographs have always concentrated more on space and time than on people.
Annie began to seriously pursue photography by working with other photographers and attending New England School of Photography, from where she graduated in 2001. Annie earned the Media and Fine Arts Award in Photography in 2004 from Massachusetts College of Art, where she earned her BFA in 2005. Currently, Annie freelances as a photographer, a photo printer and an assistant to other artists. Her images concentrate on places and their affects on identity. Specifically, Annie is working on a project featuring her family's home in Maine and her apartment in her current home of Boston. She also travels often, contrasting her images of unfamiliar landscapes with those of the Northeast.

- Ty Cole
- For his eighth-grade art class in his hometown of Decatur, Alabama, Ty captured a black and white image of an airplane. From then on he knew he wanted to be a photographer. After squeezing his way through high school and two meaningless years in community college Ty left for Atlanta, Georgia to attend the Art Institute of Atlanta. It was here his true passion for "picture takin" took hold. After graduating with the "Best Portfolio Award" for his graduating class he knew he was onto something.
Heading back to Alabama after graduating he landed a full-time position with a photographer in Birmingham and was introduced to the world of commercial photography. After a year and a half he could not resist the allure of New York City, so he packed his truck and headed north. After he realized they weren't going to kick him out for talking funny he decided to stay. He has adopted New York as his new home but often travels back to his roots for family, inspiration and a little rest & relaxation.

- Anthony Penza
- Photographer and craftsman, Anthony Penza was born in 1946 in Brooklyn, NY, and attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He purchased his first camera while on a tour of duty in Vietnam, an experience that still shapes his politics and outlook on life. Penza started taking photographs in earnest about 4 years ago as a way to immortalize the prize orchids he grows in his greenhouse on Staten Island. Although his first publicly acclaimed photo shows a lone man on the beach at Coney Island, most of his photos are devoid of people. He is drawn to shape and shadow, architectural simplicity and the deterioration of the man-made environment. He tries to capture and print what he sees, not only what the camera records.
As a member of both Gateway Photographers and Staten Island Camera clubs, he has won many awards including best photographer of the year 2007 and 2008, best color photograph in 2007 and 2008, and black and white photograph of the year for years 2007-2008.

- Dane Shitagi
- Dane Shitagi is a New York City-based photographer. Originally from Honolulu, he followed his instincts here to live the photographic life. Taking inspiration from the sights & sounds of the city as well as the energy & diverse arts that thrive here, Dane has formed a unique and heartfelt body of work that is both beautiful and personal. Rather than molding his ideas to the studio setting, he has taken his creativity and inspiration from the world outside — preferring the rawness and atmosphere that only a living city can bring.
Dane has also been photographing for clients such as American Vogue, Capezio and Fujifilm, and his images were featured in the premiere issue of Movmnt magazine.

- Don Smith
- Don lives on a quiet suburban street in New Zealand where he sees the world with a slightly surreal and, at times, darker vision. Yet with two small children events around him, he's often blissfully happy. Don's work reflects this juxtaposition: a mundane place, happy families, and an eye for oddity. Sometimes the result is standard stock; personally Don is happiest when an image tells a story on several levels, has great light, and is a little bizarre.

- Inga Spence
- Inga Spence emerged from her black and white darkroom over twenty-five years ago to begin photographing California coastal landscapes in vivid color. As her seascapes gave way to fieldscapes, she soon found herself transplanted inland amidst large-scale diversified farming. When her photographs of grape harvesting were featured in California Farmer magazine, she transformed her personal passion into her professional focus, and agriculture, the environment, and photography became her career.
Inga's lifetime of work becomes urgently relevant in this emerging green era; her focus on human interdependency with massive natural forces and landscapes feels instructive and emotional without being pedantic or impractical. Though we love Ed Weston's black and white pepper, Inga's use of full color on that juicy produce makes us want to get a little more in touch with the fertile soil ourselves. We are pleased to present Inga's sensitive and comprehensive account of her nature-filled world.

Pete attended Pasadena Art College of Design and earned a BFA in photography. He currently resides in Los Angeles.

- Austin Wondolowski
- Hailing from Northern California, Austin Wondolowski brings a fresh eye to his viewer by seeing the possibility of the otherwise ignored or mundane. Looking at Austin's work, you can't help but notice the few pieces that fail to observe the "rules" of photography and urge you ever so softly to look outside the lines of traditional beauty. Consider a drop of oil on wet pavement turning into a thousand rainbows, or a "No Parking" sign that's covered in old chewing gum becoming mountains of color, and finally a piece of metal that's given in to rust transforming into the most exquisite abstract composition. Austin is an artist with flair and a fun style. Whether he's shooting a wedding or landscapes, he captures a moment or two in time that you wouldn't have otherwise noticed, but could have.

- Alison Yin
- Throughout Alison Yin's life, she has been fascinated with the art of storytelling. She deeply values how stories communicate another person's experiences to someone else and how they create understanding amongst people of varied backgrounds. She has always been interested in human creativity, and photography provides the perfect outlet to create her own work and communicate with the world. Photography has not only become her voice but her pass to enter all kinds of different worlds. Ideally, she strives to make pictures that will make a difference to someone else — pictures that will bridge gaps, expose what is new and unknown, and that will show people that if nothing else, at least one person does care.
Alison is a freelance photographer and multimedia journalist currently based in Oakland, CA.
